Privacy Policy
Last updated
We collect only what we need to quote, build, and ship your parts. We don’t see your card number, and we don’t track you around the web.
What we collect
When you request a quote or place an order, we collect:
- Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
- Addresses: where to ship finished parts and where to return your original part.
- Quote details: photos of your part and details about your vehicle (year, make, model) and the part itself, submitted through the quote form.
We use this information to prepare your quote, make your part, ship it, and contact you about your order. That’s it.
Payments
We don’t take payments on this website. Once you approve your quote, we email you an invoice through Stripe, and you pay it on Stripe’s secure payment page.
You enter your card details with Stripe, not with us, so we never see or store your card number. Stripe shares what we need to track your payment, such as your name, email address, and the amount paid.
Analytics
We use cookieless analytics to see which pages get visited and how fast they load. They don’t set cookies or build a profile of you across other sites.
Cookies
This site doesn’t set any cookies. It doesn’t store anything else in your browser either.
Stripe’s invoice payment page is Stripe’s site, not ours. It may set its own cookies, for example to help prevent fraud, under Stripe’s cookie policy.
Who else sees your information
We share your information only with the services we need to run the business:
- Stripe, to send invoices and process payments.
- Resend, to send order and quote emails. It handles your name, email address, and order details.
- UPS, to ship parts. It receives the name, address, and phone number needed for delivery.
We don’t sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order and quote records for at least one year for normal business purposes, and longer when tax rules require it.
We use the photos you send with a quote request only to prepare your quote. We don’t keep them afterward.
Deleting your information
You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing baddesigns.nic@gmail.com. We’ll delete what we can. We keep only what we still need: records for an order that’s still in progress, and records we’re required to keep for tax purposes, until that need ends.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the “Last updated” date above.
